I was (am) an only child living in beautiful backwater Wales. Inhibited and shy as a child I always had a yearning to do something different, something daring and exciting. Something that would make people notice me. Photography was my escape. The camera give me an excuse to be in the places I go and photograph the people I want in the way that I want. The camera is somewhere to hide behind. I am not me when I photograph. Photographing puppies and babies becomes a chore. I turned to something more interesting. I turned to fetish. Fetishists facinate me. The ability to be who you want to be is an enviable quality. My photography is important to me, the ability to make my images convey feeling is something I constantly seek. I work with film in the camera but work digitally to print. My images are imperfect. My images are a perfect mess. Organic and wholesome.
